The Air Horse Ledger documents, step by step, how a horse travels by air: the stall it stands in, the papers that clear it, the quarantine that receives it, the groom who flies with it, and the cargo routes that carry it. The procedure, explained and never sold.

    The seat on the main deck is the easy part. Getting to it means training, documents and, at some destinations, a biosecurity contract.

    The standard does not forbid sedation outright. It removes the decision from the shipper and gives it to a veterinarian.
